Hi everyone! We are team TWICE and we are a group of friends who met in 2022 at Bean Voyage’s Womxn POWERed Coffee Summit. We are excited to share this project with you and to work towards building a more inclusive and yet specific definition of the word QUALITY that has ALL of us in mind ... all of us is our teams, producers, and consumers in our markets.

Hola! Somos el equipo de TWICE, un grupo de amigas que se conocieron en la Conferencia de Mujeres en Café de Bean Voyage en 2022. Estamos muy emocionadas de compartir este proyecto con ustedes y trabajar para construir una definición mas inclusiva y especifica de la palabra CALIDAD la cual nos tenga a TODAS y TODOS en mente. Productores, productoras, consumidores, consumidoras y nuestros equipos en el mercado.

Giselle Barrera

Giselle is the founder of Latinas in Coffee, an online community that connects, supports, and features women from Latin America working in the coffee industry. She is from El Salvador and is currently based in Antigua, Guatemala.  For 6 years she led business incubator programs for women coffee producers that provide trainings on marketing, financial planning, and networking opportunities.

Amaris Gutierrez-Ray

Amaris is the founder of the Women in Coffee Project and the Senior Director of Coffee & Roasting for Joe Coffee Company in New York City. Since 2018 she’s amplified the voices of women through interviews, data collection, virtual and in-person panel events, cupping series and gift exchanges to celebrate coffees produced by women, and an online database for consumers to purchase women-produced coffees from roasters all over the world.

Stephanie Welter-Krause

Stephanie is the founder of Swelter Coffee Roasters, a specialty coffee brand focused on a values-based supply chain. She brings decades of experience in graphic design and strategy, with a focus in sustainability projects, to define Swelter Coffee’s vision of nourishing coffee growing communities, educating coffee consumers, and minimizing waste and negative impacts on our environment.
